Seven airbags

Protection is key to your peace of mind. The airbags in the Everest provide a network of protection with front seat driver and passenger airbags and seat-mounted side airbags. Side-curtain airbags help protect everyone in the front and back. There’s even an airbag for the driver’s knee.

Electronic locking rear differential

For off-roaders looking for traction and grip, even in slippery or rugged terrains, the electronic locking rear differential provides full engine torque to both rear wheels, even if one is off the ground.

Hill Descent Control1 and Hill Launch Assist

Negotiating tough slopes in the Everest is simple. Hill Descent Control uses the brake system to take you downhill at a safe and steady pace. Take hold of the steering wheel and the Everest takes care of the rest. On an incline, Hill Launch Assist removes the fear of rolling. Take your foot off the brake and the system holds the brake for a few seconds, giving you time to accelerate away.

Auto High Beam Control

No one likes to dazzle oncoming drivers with their high beams. Auto High Beam Control uses a camera mounted on the rear view mirror to detect oncoming traffic and turns your high beams on and off as needed.
